Textile Summit 2018
Student Workshop and Friendship Party
Textile Summit 2018 will offer a Student Workshop/Friendship Party in the afternoon of September, 20th.
This workshop/party has objective to exchange between students and construction of future research network.
Operation of the workshop (activities) will be by our PhD students studying at Global Leader Program for Fiber Renaissance (http://www.shinshu-u.ac.jp/project/leading/english/).
Student Workshop
Student workshop includes two parts; panel discussion (60 min) and laboratory tour (90 min).
On panel discussion, students will facilitate it. The tentative topic will be to "Ask Professors".
On laboratory tour, students guide workshop attendees to their research labs (six laboratories) to introduce their work and exchange the knowledge/ideas to enhance research achievement. Several groups will be formed and visit each laboratory every 15 min.
Friendship Party
Our PhD students studying at Global Leader Program will offer "Friendship Party" in the evening on September 20th.
The party will serve delicious local "Ueda" foods and drink*1.
All you can eat (depends on your appetite, although).
Enjoy conversation with new friends and have a great time!
Payment of the party is your own.
*1: We will prepare the Halal food and Vegetarian food, as well.
